Pixel® Laser Resurfacing

Pixel® is the latest in fractional laser technology known for its great results with virtually no downtime. The Pixel® laser resurfaces the skin, stimulating new collagen synthesis, all while drastically improving fine lines and wrinkles. It also very effectively treats scars, including acne scars, eliminates brown spots secondary to sun damage, and superficial skin lesions. Usually a series of three to five treatments are needed approximately two to three weeks apart.

Photofacial (IPL)

Photofacial, also known as IPl, is a no-downtime treatment that targets brown spots and other problems that result from sun damage. It also improves rosacea and spider veins on the nose and cheeks. Photofacial can be used on just about any part of the body, including the face, neck, chest, arms, and hands. Usually, three to five treatments are needed depending on your skin condition.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is a procedure that eliminates unwanted hair throughout the body. It may be used on many different areas of the body, including the upper lip, eyebrows, legs, bikini line, underarms, back, arms, chest or abdominals. Both men and women may be patients for laser hair removal.

The Laser Hair Removal Treatment

By heating the dark areas of the follicle and damaging them, the laser treatment disables the hair follicle from producing more hair growth. Usually three-to-six laser hair removal treatments will be needed depending on how light your skin is, and how dark your hair is. During your laser hair removal appointment, you will feel a slight stinging sensation, much like the snap of a rubber band against the skin. In order to make you more comfortable, we may use the Zimmer Cool Air during your treatment to minimize the laser sensation. Areas of the face may need more treatment than others, such as the legs and back. Laser hair removal is performed at our office near McKinney and Plano, Texas about once every six to eight weeks to start and then less frequently after your first couple appointments.

After Laser Hair Removal

After your appointment, you should avoid the sun for several weeks, because your skin will be sensitive to light. You should also avoid waxing the area but can continue to shave as needed. After each treatment, your skin in the treatment area will continue to become smoother and hair free.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a professional skin care treatment that will smooth the overall texture of the face, while improving circulation to the face. Whether you have fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, rough skin, or acne, microdermabrasion can exfoliate those problems away and remove the dead cells, revitalizing the skin.

The Microdermabrasion Treatment

Below the top layer of skin (called the stratum corneum) are several layers of more moisturized skin cells that are protected by the stratum corneum. Using the latest diamond tip technology (no crystal mess) to buff away the top layer of cells, microdermabrasion speeds cell turnover so that newer, smoother skin cells below the stratum corneum can be brought to the top surface of the skin. These cells have more collagen, more moisture, and look more revitalized, which will rejuvenate the overall appearance of your face.

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel can correct and soften facial flaws, including fine lines, wrinkles, skin and pigmentation problems, as well as acne scars. A chemical peel can be performed in several different concentrations using either a mild or stronger solution depending on the desired cosmetic goals. A full face treatment can take up to an hour to perform, and will require the use of sunscreen for several months after treatment.
